Socket Cap Screws are reliable and durable and are used in many applications. They are available in a variety of head styles and materials.
Alloy Steel is steel that has been alloyed with other materials to improve overall physical properties. Steels are designated by a 4 number SAE Steel grade. The first two digits indicate the primary materials used to form the steel. The last 2 digits identify the percentage of carbon for the alloy (in hundredths). Tensile strength ranges for the alloys typically used in these fasteners range from 170,000 to 180,000 psi (pounds per square inch), making these amongst the strongest of materials.
With a high cylindrical head, socket cap head fasteners have a recessed driving area and offer high hold power at high torque levels. Hex socket drive systems are driven by hex wrenches or power tools with hexagonal bits.
A threaded fastener's size name includes information about the major external diameter (in millimeters), followed by the thread pitch (millimeters per thread), which indicates if it is coarse or fine. Coarse threads are better when working with brittle materials; they are sturdier and are easier to thread and unthread compared to fine. Coarse threading also allows for thicker coatings and platings. Top to learn more

Wasn't aware just how little threading these had.
These turned out to be useless to me, the description stated they weren't fully threaded, but didn't state just how not fully threaded they were. I'm going to have to get a die that will go further up, I'm having trouble finding M5 bolts that meet my requirements and these were the closest. The picture is very misleading. Top to learn more

Product Description
Metric socket head cap screws, also known as Allen head screws, have a recessed drive and are commonly used when there is not enough clearance for a conventional wrench or socket. They are durable and used in many industrial applications.
Zinc plating helps prevent corrosion. Alloy steel is steel that has been alloyed with other materials to improve overall physical properties. Steels are designated by a four-number SAE steel grade. Alloy Steel Socket Cap Screw Hex Socket Drive M8-1 25 180mm Length Pack of 25
I slid in the new parts after applying some marine grease and put in the new snap ring, the kit supplies a smaller snap ring for the end of the axle by my application didnt need it. Screwed on the outer hub in the free position, then jacked up... this was easy to install only took half hour been using it with no problems u do not need to go to a shop anyone can install in there drive way don't have to be a mechanic u just remove snap ring pull hub out install new put snap ring back in and... I replaced my factory automatic hubs with the Warn locking hubs without much swearing at all. I purchased these hubs to replace the factory hubs on my 2000 F350. For ensured hub engagement the premium hubs feature heavy dial detents and a thick internal wavespring. I did need the spindle nut set, and a special socket to install them. Once I had everything I needed, I breezed right through it. I did tighten the wheel bearing retention nut too tight, and took both hubs apart the next day and put them back together again in about 45 minutes. Only thing is, make sure you grease the lower ball joints then remove the zerq and install the plug before you put the steering knuckle back on the axle shaft. I started by removing the snap ring holding in the hub then tapped it with a hammer and it slid right out since it is plastic and cant rust to the rotor. This is a very simple job, I had replaced the hubs on my Jeep CJ5 about 20 plus years ago so I figured I could do it again since I am not a mechanic. It has an all metal construction using ZA Alloy for reliability and durability. The job took about 30 minutes to complete, you dont have to remove the wheel or jack up the truck.
Grove accompanied with hard material fits firmly to hex tools, eliminating heartbreaking stripping of hex tools or the screw head. The model plane crashed many times, yet have not had sigle screw failing me. This screw is so finely build, it will snap the shaft of hex tool before grove is stripped off. belt hook - excellent battery life between uses - relatively inexpensive for additional battery packs (30 USD) - powerful enough for 98% of my drilling/driving needs Cons: - LED lighting isn't as good as the hex chuck version of this drill - the... 8 volts nominal and 12 volts of max power, two speed settings, a 1,500 max RPM, 15 clutch settings, a 3/8-inch chuck size, a one sleeve chuck type, a weight of 2. Pros: - compact, short, lightweight = a joy to use - slim handle is great for smaller hands (e. g. women, kids) - one-handed chuck uses all types of bits - good high end speed for drilling - well balanced - stands upright. I was looking around for a smaller drill and ended up with this one and haven't regretted it. The drill feels good in your hands. My husband has several Drill-Drivers and I can barely hold them with two hands, much less manage holding a screw or other item. The driver comes with two lithium-ion battery packs, each offering 1. The DEWALT 12-Volt Max 3/8-Inch Drill Driver offers convenient design features like shadow-free LED lighting and a belt clip. 4 pounds, and a length of 7-1/2 inches. The two-speed transmission provides optimal speed and torque control, and LED light provides visibility in dark areas, and a belt hook is included for portability. This DEWALT high-performance industrial tool comes with a warranty package that includes a 3 year limited warranty, a 1 year free service contract, and a 90 day money back guarantee. While it doesn't turn as fast as my bigger drill, it's more than fast enough and the speed range is probably better suited for around the house use. The 3/8-inch chuck accepts bits up to 1 inch.
Product Description Music wire is a high grade, uniform steel wire originally intended for strings in musical instruments. This stiff wire, and other sizes down to. 001, have only the disadvantage that I can't freaking SEE it. They mail this straightened wire in long tubes, and for awhile, I was really P. O. 'd that the tubes were empty-- until I broke out the Optivisor. I ordered five pieces, and they arrived in a durable cardboard shipping tube, and each wire was packed in its own clear plastic tube. It's hard, tough stuff, and it's difficult to cut to length. I was concerned about ordering lengths of this size from Amazon. It was very well packed. You need special music wire snips, or you can do what hobbyists do and cut it with a using a cutoff disc.
