Fantastic! Firstly thanks to Amazon for excellent purchase experience and excellent price. In fact the best price I could find anywhere online after searching for many days. 5 Stars to Amazon and 4 stars to the DMT factory for a good product. The good bits:*perfectly flat*large (huge in fact)*heavy and stable*Excellent for maintaining a sharp edge on tools*Excellent (or the best) for preliminary Cooks kitchen Knives honing*For smooth grading of very expensive natural Japanese Karasu, Nakayama etc whetstones*Perfect to be used just before taking the tool to the finishing hones on 0.3 Micron paper or Japanese Natural Shoubu, hard Nakayama like Karasu etc.I like the size and weight of the stone. It is WONDERFUL. It is good choice for grading the more expensive natural Japanese waterstones because it leaves a smooth ready to use polishing surface. For more severe correction perhaps a coarser grit is useful but I personally...
