It Works and is a great product for ethnic, thick hair, soft or coarse
I've purchased this product from Sally's beauty supply and I used it on my scalp when I got my hair braided. It does have a little strange odor but you can easily spray a light all natural oil sheen on top of it and its gone. I just put it directly on my scalp and massaged it. I did it a few times a week and after I removed my braids, my hair was soft, strong, and it grew a lot. Its a good addition to any hair growth regimen that you currently have in place. My regimen to help my hair grow and become stronger, consist of this, carrot oil in the jar by organic root stimulator, and a spray by triple gro and hair vitamins by super hair energizer. Amazing results, but smells funny
Of all the hair products I've ever tried, this is the only one that gave solid results. My hair was soft, manageable and stopped breaking completely. It grew so fast my friends started asking me what I using and I was amazed as well. ONLY problem: this stuff smells funny. That's because it's free of articial perfumes and such, which was GREAT for my hair but cramped my social style. I stopped using Wild Growth due to the smell, but I'm going to try it again (I'm having a hair crisis!) and maybe use a sweet smelling natural oil or hair spray to mask the funny odor.

Great item, but don't buy this on Amazon.
This is a good product, within the first use I noticed my hair was softer and more manageable and I'm not completely 100% sure because I'm not the type of person to measure but after a few weeks I think I've noticed faster hair growth. With use of this everytime I felt that my scalp was becoming dry again, It solved my severe dandruff problem also. Great to put on hair before blow drying to not only protect from the heat but give you a frizz free smooth and shiny blow dry or straightener style with little to no breakage. I gave it 4 stars because SOME people may not like the smell, I found it quite to the contrary and I found it pleasant, has sort of a sweet smell to it, not amazingly good smelling but nothing to complain about at all. Nzuri Elixir works well, both in look AND feel
I am extremely pleased with Nzuri. "Dry, brittle, lifeless" hair seemed to be the story of my life. I would move from that to OILY when I'd try a different product. Well, it might not have been oily but it looked that way. I have difficult hair (two-tone, slightly longer than shoulder length). Nzuri's 61 ingredients even tasted very good!
The first month I noticed a big difference on my face because I applied Nzuri topically at night and in the morning (just like the directions suggested). Altough I did not see any major improvement in hair growth, I had enough confidence to keep on it. By the third month I had very admirable improvmenet in hair growth too. Nzuri grew my 2 daughters' hair
Hi I am an African American lady who took my two daughters natural. We did the big chop and cut all of the relaxer out of their hair early last year. This product really works
I have been using fast grow for about a month now and my hair hair has grown out a lot since using it. I have to admit I thought the vitamins wouldn't work and that I would be wasting my money on another product that claims to grow black hair and doesn't but this product really does work. I starting using it after a bad and way too short haircut that was suppose to be just a little trim for split ends. My hair has not only grown back in a month but is longer than it was before. My nails are much longer also, and my hair looks and feels so much better. It looks healthy! I take the fast grow along with my daily vitamins and it works great.

WOW!!
I wear my hair natural and since cutting my locs last year in the hope of growing it out long - I've been looking for a quality "hair" vitamin to help supplement my regular haircare routine. I purchased Fast Grow in March and after finishing my 1st bottle (taking them as instructed - 3x/day)....I was shocked to see how much my hair had grown when I decided to finally blow it out w/ the hair dryer.I'm presently wearing my hair in braids but I intend to continue taking this vitamin til the end of the year or up until my hair has reached shoulder length. This product is amazing!
Like many, I am reluctant when hearing that a product can grow, clear, tighten or reduce anything. I was proven wrong with this product. I had about a snap's worth of hair and decided that I wanted to grow it out in November 2007. Knowing me, if I don't grow it out fast, I'll cut it off even faster. So I started taking this product almost two months ago. Now I'm not saying I have hair flowing down my back, but my hair has easily grown two inches or more since November. Further, the texture of my hair both strengthened and softened within two weeks. I purchased two more bottles yesterday and given this progress, I should be sporting a ponytail in 2009!JULY 2008 UPDATE: I've been growing my hair since November 2007 from a short clipper cut and now my hair is nearly chin length AFTER just having an inch and a hair trim. For years my brush would be full of hair after brushing, so I started looking for regrowth products. They were all over priced. I came across these pills here, the price caught my attention. I really didn't expect it to work at such a low price. I have been using these pills for about a month and my hair is not falling out any more. I highly recommend this product. I am reordering more for my self and for friends and family members.I wanted to update this review, because after only 45 days (1 bottle), I have new hair growth, that is about 1 to 2 inches long. They work! Six months and still going!
I've been taking these pills since December 2009, after I realized how badly my hair was falling out. I was rather oblivious to how much I was shedding until I noticed how many loose strands I'd be pulling out in the shower while shampooing, and although I'm aware hair is three times weaker when it's wet, it scared me. I went out the next day to buy things to make my hair strong again, such as shampoo without sulfates and these vitamins. I don't know how long it took before I actually noticed they were helping, I wasn't paying much attention because I was simply convinced they wouldn't help. But one day I realized not only was I leaving less hair all over the bathroom floor from brushing my hair, but I pull out a lot less when I shampoo my hair! Awesome
My hair had to be bleached to get rid of a dark color and has been damaged and breaking ever since. I wanted my hair to grow fast so I could cut the rest of the damage out and finally let my hair just grow. After using this my hair didn't break or shed like it was, and I could actually manage my thick curly hair.. It did grow faster as well.In less then a month my hair has grown a little under an inch. Great conditioner for kinky, dry hair!
I am African American with dry kinky hair. The conditioner makes my hair so much softer. It speeds up the detangling process after washing. I work out a lot and therefore have to shampoo my hair frequently. The shampoo does not suds easily, but that is okay for me because I need only a gentle shampoo. My hair and nails are growing faster and healthier, however, I am taking oral supplements too. Therefore, I can't honestly say that the shampoo and conditioner increases the growth rate. Again, the conditioner is awesome for dry or damaged hair.

Great Shampoo and Conditioner!
I used to have waist length hair 2 years ago, but cut it about bra-strap length due to split ends. I figured my hair would grow back waist length within a year (I'm half Asian so my hair usually grows back fast), but I was very disappointed. A year later, my hair had only grown about an inch because I had to keep cutting my ends cause they were so dry and kept splitting.
