Best product available to stores and/or consumers...
I have used this machine daily for five years. I could write the book on this machine and all associated issues, good and bad. I wrote a review initially for here but it ended up being two pages long. Drop me an email at the store if you want to know anything about these devices (I do not sell them so my input is impartial). Has made our store a stand-out for disc quality over the others. [...]Have received a large volume of email about this so I added this last part from a response I sent...Overall it is a worthwhile purchase for protection/preservation of inventory. I use the older style machines which are available through other resellers now (as the company has switched to a new design - which I do not want to use). There have been several timer malfunctions but the motor still runs well and I control the power with a plug strip instead of the timer. It gets used 8-10 hours a day on hundreds of discs - so mathematically it has serviced hundreds of thousands...

Does what it claims
I am a college student in IT that fixes computers, and, a lot of the time, a client will want me to reinstall a program from a nearly-mutilated disk. I needed something not only inexpensive -initially-, but with inexpensive upkeep and supplies. After a great deal of research, I stumbled upon the JFJ Easy Pro (I had been leaning toward a discgotech).When I first bought the product and was waiting impatiently for its arrival, I read some more reviews on the JFJ machine. Apparently, there are two versions of the machine: one with a glass-like plastic top, and one with a lighter plastic. I called the company and asked them several questions:1.) If I get the product with the top made of "lighter" plastic, can I get the new lid?-- yes, but you have to send it off and spend about 50 dollars for the piece and labor.2.) I have heard that, after thousands of repairs, the plastic cap that holds the disc while it spins will eventually strip on the...

One of the best inexpensive CD/DVD Repair Kits on the Market
I had been bringing my scratched CDs into a local shop to have them repair them for over a year. The owner was charging $1 a CD. He happens to have the same machine. At times I would get the CDs back and some would work great and some wouldn't. I hesitatingly bought my own to save the time and money of bringing each CD down to him to have them repaired. Boy, am I glad I did. I love this machine. It doesn't repair Gamecube or mini CD/DVDs, but it repairs all of my full size CD/DVDs. I've had some pretty deep scratches left over from the ex-girlfriends not putting the discs back into the cases. I've been repairing them to save me from buying them again. Sometimes it takes multiple times running it through to sand it down on the deep scratches, but they always come out working correctly. One disc I had to run through for 3 to 4 minutes of sanding just to remove the scratch, but it works great now. My daughter wanted to watch a movie last night that had been scratched and I hadn't...

AN HONEST REVIEW from EXPERIENCED USER
I have owned and used THREE JFJ EASY PRO MACHINES. I still do alot of Disc Cleaning and Resurfacing on a daily basis.I recommend the machine based solely on Cost. There are many superior Disc Repair Machines...however they cost at least 4 times more than this machine. This is a barebones budget solution... that can work if used properly.The Easy Pro is NOT a high-end precision machine. It is a simple idea that can work. The Easy Pro is basically a Motor... that spins a scratched Disc around... so that a Pad can buff it smooth. After trial and error the machine will deliver the desired results 4 out of 5 times. The results will vary depending on your particular machine and the quality of the maqnufacturer's Disc. Surprisngly, the Disc damage is not always the main determining factor! Some Discs, regardless of the playing surface, t will never look or play properly.I have spoken to the Manufacturer several times. The Claims that the Machine can clean 100...

A godsend--the best possible!
All prior repair kits I've used just made the CD much worse (such as the Memorex OptiFix, which RUINS CDs instead of fixing them) or marginally better (Disk Doctor). The Disk Doctor at least repaired the CD correctly but made it look butchered; good luck selling one, it would look like you took sandpaper to it.This one, however, both removes all reasonable scratches (if it's too deep, sorry, there's nothing in existence that will remove it) AND makes the CD look brand new. It is a long process, not a 20 second "stick it in and forget about it" procedure, but the end results are incredible. You have to work for it, maybe half an hour on a horribly scratchy disk, but this thing will work miracles!!!

The best machine on the market!
The instructions are vague and hard to understand because this machine is from China. After using the machine for a few months, I got the hang of it and use it a little differently than the instructions suggest. I get fantastic results by using the white pads 90% of the time. The yellow pads are only used if the discs is completely thrashed. The liquid polish is the best stuff to use. I also use the creams with the white pads if the disc is very scratchy. I sell DVD/CD's for a living and this machine has greatly improved my sales and prices. A must have for all sellers of DVD/CD/Games. It will pay for itself!

Works like a charm!!
All I can say is, I'll never have to worry again if I get a DVD and it freezes or skips! I recently bought my wife a 25 DVD set, and halfway through the first disc it froze. I started looking up repair machines and almost went with a another one due to the price of this machine, but after reading the Amazon reviews I picked this one. After receiving the machine, I followed the instructions (with a slight amount of difficulty, as they were a tad confusing), and about 5 minutes later it was as good as new!! It seems I'll never have to return defective DVD's again!! Well worth the cost!!
