Excellent trimmer!
This is the first time I've used a trimmer and I love it. Wasn't sure what to expect, whether it would hurt or if I would be sneezing all day. None of that happened. The trimmer is:- very easy to set up- requires a AA battery (not included)- washable- operates at an acceptable noise level (low humming sound)- gets rid of hair with no pull or tuck feelingI used this for my nose and ears and it worked great. The rounded cap on top has a blade on the inside, the blade is placed slightly lower than the tip of the cap. This helps avoid any skin tucks, making it completely safe to use. There is a small opening in the top cap that can be exposed by rotating the head of the trimmer. The opening here is what makes the trimmer washable, it lets water in to wash the blade and also drains it out.Haven't tried other trimmers so I can't really compare but this one worked just fine and I'm sticking to it.

I like it
Years ago, I wanted a Panasonic and instead received a Remington as a gift. Hated but used it for years until finally I dropped it and broke the battery cover.I was shocked to see the bad and mixed reviews on the other Panasonic trimmers. So, I went on Panasonic's site and looked at all the models. This one looks like a response to all of the negative reviews. I took a chance because there were no reviews about it on Amazon. Well, turns out it works GREAT. Very quiet and trims great. I was worried that it would be too large (as the photo appears), but it is actually small (the right size).

Ah -- Panasonic has solved a problem of long standing.Every time I use a nose hair trimmer, the loose cuttings make me sneeze.No more!This Vacuum Nose-Ear Hair Trimmer works as advertised, sucking up the loose hair as it cuts, preventing the otherwise inevitable sneezing and nose blowing. Decided to look for a new beard and mustache trimmer when my trusty old Norelco Maverick TX-450 finally gave up the ghost and just quit running. If this sounds like I'm slamming the product, I'm not, as I had owned this basic battery-operated trimmer for over sixteen years - far longer than I ever expected it to last when I first got it. I could have probably fixed it (again) if I disassembled and cleaned it out, but decided to see what might be new on the market. This is a great trimmer for a great price!!!
I was given a beard trimmer for Christmas with all sort of attachments. However, it was a terrible trimmer and was constantly catching my beard hairs, but that's for another review. The point is I needed a trimmer that was more powerful and didn't catch my facial hairs as the one I had gotten for Christmas did.After quite a lot of on-line research I came across the Panasonic ER224. It looked great from the pictures and reviews, and since I've had good luck with Panasonic in the past, I decided to go ahead and buy it. I bought it from Amazon for only $32 with shipping and had it a few days later.I usually only shave once a week, but I'll still trim my goatee and mustache as needed to keep it looking well groomed. By the time I had received this trimmer, I was in need! The first thing that struck me was it was much larger than I had expected. The pictures certainly don't do it justice. Works great, and here's some tips
I've never dared use one of these but finally got tired of stray hairs peeking out. I put it to use last night and it works great. What more needs to be said about a nose hair trimmer??A little more. First, the light actually is useful...just not when you've got it stuck in your nose cutting hair. Its use is when you periodically need to examine inside to see how you're doing. So spend the big bucks for the lighted model, otherwise you'll have to keep a flashlight around.Second, when you first get it, it has a light oil film on the cutter. Good for the machinery but not so much for your nose. So I recommend you take an alcohol swab, take the cutter apart like they say and clean everything before the first use.

I read the reviews. I expected the pain. Now, I have mastered this modern marvel.Pros:- No more commutes with people staring at me while I yank and pinch into my nose.- If you use it as the delicate work of art it is, it doesn't hurt as much as the yanking and pinch (see my tips below).- The light IS useful - it allows you to see into the nether regions of your nostrils to catch those that might otherwise show their hairs tomorrow.- Water proof for your running under the faucet for cleaning.- Small, lightweight, and neat design (like a mini-light saber to slash through the dark side of your nose)Cons:- Not a whole lot of power, but the question begs as to how much power you'd like to stick up your nostrils anyways.- Though the water proof capabilities allow you to run this bugger under the faucet, your normal faucet doesn't do much to clean it.Tips:* Usage:I've found that this trimmer works best...
